HATKO R&D engineers spent hundreds of technical hours on the examination of natural turf systems and cloned all benefits of the natural turf blades to our new patented system, Omega Turf. On the best natural turf fields, the turf blades have a concave structure, but it is not enough for perfect results in terms of long playing hours. HATKO engineers transformed the natural turf pitch blades with engineering techniques and created our new patented turf blade profile Omega.

Omega Turf has a unique shape of concave and convex, reinforced with 3 spines, which ensures resilience in the turf blade, as well as excellent flexibility and durability.

Excellence S

The requirements of stadia are different than those of other pitches. They need to be tested annually to maintain their stars. Conventional 50-60 mm pile height systems generally fail because of the compaction of the high depth infill. If you avoid “one pile height fits all” approach to your professional requirements, Excellence is the right product for you. It stands out with its thorough system design. The high capsulation of the low depth infill improves the player comfort. In addition, the aesthetic performance of very dense grass piles is excellent.

20 mm sport-elastic layer underneath the turf makes the difference. This system design prevents the compaction of sand in the system. Compared with the conventional 50-60 mm systems, it fulfills the FIFA Requirements throughout its lifespan.

A Tribute to a Classic

Duograss

Sometimes even classics need a retouch. Duograss (Performa Grass) is a reinterpretation of the fibrillated systems with new polymers, yarn colors and shades. The system was originally designed for professionals. Throughout its lifespan, it served the pitches in the bestmanner. While technology has developed and everything else has changed, one thing has remained the same.

Durability of Duograss is a benchmark for turf systems. The new color shades introduce a fresh retouch to the classic Performa Grass, renamed as Duograss. The best infill capsulation performance becomes an inspiration for our 2 yarn combination systems - Xtreme Combi and Power Grass.

The durability of the system allows for a new serving area for the community pitches and 5-a-side mini soccer pitches.

INFILL artificial grass or NON-INFILL artificial grass?

Non-Infill

Silica sand gives “stability” and rubber infill gives “shock absorption” to the system, together protecting the fibres for a longer use.

As a result, we could state that infill artificial grass systems are more suitable than its non-infill rival for the surfaces with heavy traffic.

But still you could have some other reasons to chose non-infill artificial grass …

A non-infilled artificial grass system may be considered by clients who want to use artificial grass for residential purposes, kids or pets play areas, surrounding area of swimming pools, landscaping areas especially with hard slopes, decoration of walls / roofs. Also, the clients who worry about kids putting the rubber granules or sands into mouth may want to use such systems.

HATKO engineers developed an innovative solution for non-infill artificial turf systems. The combination of the curly and straight monofilament with our State of Art Two-Pile-Height Tufting Technology provides natural turf playing characteristics and quality very close to that of the nature of the game.

HATKO Non-Infill systems are tested by FIFA accredited laboratories for Toxicology and Flammability according to DIN 18035-7 and DIN 51960 norms.
